Adele Wohlrab, born on January 22, 1920, in Bremervorde, Germany, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024, in West Milford, New Jersey, at the age of 104. She is survived by her loving children Gail Norris and Eric Wohlrab, cherished grandchildren Kerri Norris, Courtney Lee Magee, Kevin Norris, Nicole Meszaros, Rick Wohlrab, and Cody Wohlrab, as well as her son-in-laws Gerry Norris and Joseph Meszaros, and daughter-in-law Cheryl Wohlrab.

Adele was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence George Wohlrab, her son Bruce G. Wohlrab, her daughter Lynn Meszaros, her parents Johann and Anna Tietjen, and her siblings Anna, Elfriede, Hans, and Karl.

She came to the United States in 1937 at the age of 17 and spent most of her life in Saddle Brook, NJ, where she raised her wonderful family. Adele initially worked at Shulton’s and then dedicated over 20 years to Reed-Lane.

Adele had a love for travel and cruises, often visiting new places. One of her favorite trips included a yearly visit to Aruba, which she shared with her family.

Adele spent much of her time in later years swimming in the pool, playing bingo, and her favorite card games. Her zest for life and love for her family will always be remembered.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her.

A private interment will be held at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
