Obituary for Carmine Thomas Maneri
Carmine Thomas Maneri, age 86, of Waretown, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at home in Waretown, NJ.
Raised in East Paterson and living in Fair Lawn for 30+ years, he raised 3 children and was an important person in the creation of the Fair Lawn Football Association where he later became a trustee. He worked for over 30 years at Platronic Seals in Clifton. After retiring, he and his wife Ellen moved to Manahawkin and enjoyed many years at his home on the water until Ellen’s passing in 1999. He met his loving companion Roslyn Ventrella and enjoyed another 23 years of retirement with her, traveling, partying and enjoying life. He was an avid gardener, loved the beach, the NY Giants and enjoyed the company of many friends, new and old.
He is survived by his children; Karen McGuirl and her husband Ken, Trish Julis, and her husband Mike and their 2 children, Daniel & Shaina, and Rich Maneri and his wife Lori and their 3 children, Dean, Jamie & Kelly.
The Maneri family will receive family and friends at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road Fair Lawn, NJ on Thursday February 23, 2023 from 4-8 PM. A graveside service will be held Friday at the George Washington Memorial Park at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carmines memory to the American Heart Association.
