Obituary for Christopher Robert Kendrick

Christopher Robert Kendrick, age 59, of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Chris was born in Manhasset, New York to Andrew and Eileen Kendrick. He grew up in Hauppauge, New York and lived in Ridgewood, New Jersey before moving to Ho-Ho-Kus 5 years ago.

Chris was a jack of all trades but his favorite “job” was being a stay-at-home dad and raising his three incredible children. He took every opportunity to live life to the fullest – traveling with his family across the world, attending his children’s concerts and football games, deciding what house project he would tackle next (and which one to “pro-chris-tinate” to another day) researching everything, and spending time nurturing his relationships with his beloved friends and family.

Chris will forever be known as someone who put everyone else first before himself and would do anything for anyone. He adored his family and friends and will be missed greatly. There are no words that can capture the vastness of his love, nor the impact that he had on the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have met him.

Loving husband of 31 years to Regina Kendrick. Devoted father of Mark Andrew Kendrick and his wife Caroline of Brookhaven, Georgia, Regina Margaret Kendrick and her fiancé Michael Anderson of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and Michael James Kendrick of New York City and new grandfather to Bennett Christopher . Dear brother of Donna Nuckel of Huntington, New York, and his identical twin Stephen Kendrick of Atlanta, Georgia.

Family and friends may visit the Kendrick family on Monday, May 29, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood. The funeral will be livestreamed on the church website www.olmcridgewood.com

Interment to follow at Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
