Domenica Tournour passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the age of 91. Born in the Bronx, NY she was a long-time resident of Paramus. Domenica was a Secretary in the Bronx District Attorney’s office before retiring. She loved anything related to law which stemmed from her two brothers who were judges, and her grandson in law enforcement.

Domenica enjoyed keeping up with current events whether that was reading the daily newspaper, or viewing the news on television. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards (Rummy), making her famous Thanksgiving soup, watching an episode of Law and Order, spending time with her family and dogs, going to Diamond Beach, and having a tall glass of wine.

She is predeceased by her husband) Mario, siblings Hon. Anthony V., Antoinette, Hon. Vincent F., Regina and Yolanda. Domenica is survived by her daughter Anna (Joey) D’Ambrosio, son Louis Tournour; grandchildren Joseph (Nicole) D’Ambrosio, Anthony D’Ambrosio, Mario (Juliana) D’Ambrosio, great-grandson Baby Joey, her sister Irene, her Dog Benny and many nieces and nephews
She was Nonni to all her grandchildren whom she adored.
