Douglas John Wellins, 80, passed away on May 26,2023. Douglas was born on July 23,1942 in Paterson to Nathan and Eileen Wellins, then born again in 1970, when he accepted Jesus as his savior. He was a Brunswick mechanic before retiring from Montvale Lanes. Loving husband of 62 years, Evelyn Wellins(nee Majkovic). Devoted father to Dawn Carabello, Shirley Wellins, Yvonne (Drew) Seabeck, Douglas Wellins ll, Paula (Jed) Coldon, and Jessica (Dan) Monaco. Cherished grandfather of Roxanne, Gabrielle, Drew, Danielle, Cassidy, Jason, Joshua, Brianna and Alyssa. Brother of Marvin and Richard, preceded in death by Diane,Alan, and Norman. He will also be greatly missed by his best friend of 63 years, Tom Leth. A private celebration of life will be held by his family.
