Obituary for Faith Vasios
Faith Vasios, 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5th. Faith was born in Lodi, grew up in Paterson, and was a long-time resident of Fair Lawn. Faith is predeceased by her brother Henry, in-laws Catherine, Harry, Mary, Helen, James and her beloved husband, Harry. She leaves behind her daughters Barbara; Diane, her husband Gary; grandchildren, Narissa, Cory, Nicole, Justin, James; 3 great nieces, Christina, Jill, Alexa and a great nephew George.
She was a faithful Christian and member of Wyckoff Baptist Church (now Cornerstone Christian Church). She was a member of the choir and a trio, taught Sunday School, was involved in Missionary Guild, Pioneer Girls, along with countless volunteer activities.
Faith enjoyed baking, playing the piano, gardening, hosting dinners and BBQ’s, watching game shows, reading, taking vacations at the Jersey Shore, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.
Faith was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. She lived a long, fulfilled life and will be deeply missed.
