Obituary for Jeanette A. Tabbachino

Jeanette A. Tabbachino, 80, passed away on February 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was an adoring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born in New York City to Dominick and Jean, and was raised in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, NY alongside her brother James (“Jimmy”). She attended Saint Alphonsus High School and achieved Valedictorian of the Class of 1960.

She went on to work as Secretary to the Rent Control Department in West New York, NJ and lead as Officer of the Supreme Emblem Club of Ridgefield Park, NJ. She married Diego (“Dick”) Tabbachino on November 28, 1975, and together they raised two sons, Dominick and Philip. Jeanette was a lifelong learner who never missed the opportunity to share her knowledge of trivia, old movies, music, and vocabulary with all those around her. She loved dancing, reading, solving crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, playing bingo and the lottery, spending time at the beach, being a passionate fan of the New York Yankees, as well as attending all of her granddaughters' races, sports events, and dance recitals.

Jeanette is survived by her husband Diego, son Dominick and wife Gina, and granddaughters Geri and Giavanna. She was predeceased by her son Philip (2007) and her brother Jimmy (2002).
