Jeanne M. Rodgers, “Mimi”, 91, of Washington Township NJ, died Monday, May 19, 2023. Born in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Charles and Jean Ammirato. Jeanne graduated from Eastside High School and then attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Ridgewood, NJ. She then worked for the US Rubber Company until she married the late Dr. John A. Rodgers. The couple were longtime residents of Paramus NJ, then they moved to their beloved Shelter Island for retirement, and finally residing in Washington Township.

Jeanne was always known for looking fabulous and making an impression on everyone she met. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that provided all of her friends and family with love. She is survived by her children, John, William and Christen, three daughters-in- law, Norma, Karen and Laura, seven grandchildren Thea (Michael), Stephanie (Dane), William (Ashley), Steven, Michael, Jacqueline and Richard and her two great granddaughters Cameron and Charlie. Jeanne is predeceased by her son, Richard and her husband Dr. John Rodgers.
