Obituary for Josephine Romeo (La Bianca)
ROMEO, Josephine (nee La Bianca), age 96, of Glen Rock, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. Josephine was born on May 18th, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY to Luigi and Anna La Bianca. She grew up in Brooklyn and has lived in Glen Rock for the past 45 years. She married the love of her life Vito Joseph Romeo on May 10th, 1947. Prior to her retirement she was a bookkeeper with G. G. Sharp in NYC. Josephine was faithful parishioner at St Catharine’s RC Church in Glen Rock.

Cherished grandmother of Matthew Romeo and his wife Danielle, Michael Romeo, and Elizabeth Li Conti and her husband Paul Joseph and great-grandmother of Vito Paul, Victoria Rose, and Gianna Paola.
Family and friends may visit the Romeo family on Thursday, May 24, 2023, from 4-8 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10:00 Am at St Catharine’s RC Church, Glen Rock. Entombment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
