RYAN, Lois Mary (Holterhoff), age 92, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. Lois was born in Paterson to August and Eileen (Drean) Holterhoff and has been a resident of Fair Lawn most of her life. She was a business teacher at Berkley College before she welcomed her 5 children with her loving husband John Ryan. Lois poured all her love and guidance into raising her children and the care of their home. She was a parishioner of St. Anne’s RC Church in Fair Lawn, and was a member of their Rosary Society and Bible Study. She also worked as secretary for St. Anne’s as well. She was the president of the Warren Point PTA.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, John Paul Ryan of Hewitt. Beloved mother to Colleen Black and her husband Ben of Hewitt, Kevin Ryan and his wife Denise of Florida, Keith Ryan and his wife Anita of Butler, Sean Ryan and his wife Fehr of Wanaque, and the late Kerry Ryan. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law Jacqueline Ryan. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Anne’s RC Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ.
