Obituary for Paul W. Pakosinski

Paul W Pakosinski, age 71, of Hawthorne, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, with the comfort of family by his side.

Paul was born to Walter and Katherine Pakosinski. He was a lifelong Hawthorne resident and graduated from Hawthorne High School. He was a member of the Hawthorne Muchachos.

Paul enjoyed his work as a tractor trailer driver. He and his wife traveled the road together when he was an owner-operator. He also worked for Ruzila’s Trucking for many years as a local truck driver. He continued as a local truck driver with Sealy until his retirement.

Paul was an avid NJ Devils fan. He enjoyed season tickets to the games and shared his love of the sport with family. He also faithfully followed the NY Giants. Paul loved to swim and enjoyed going to Wildwood with his family. He had a quiet demeaner and would easily smile a jolly smile. He cared for and loved his pets. He had several lizards over the years who he loved and took great care of. His dog Panther was his pride and joy.

Paul is survived by his Wife of 44-years, Grace Pakosinski. He is also survived by his siblings Karen Garcia, Elaine Waldorf, Sandra Sconfienza, Bob Pakosinski and his wife Debbie as well as Joseph Pakosinski and his wife Jeanette. He will be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Katherine as well as his brother-in-law Roy Sconfienza.

He is remembered fondly by all that knew and love him.
