Obituary for Raffaele "Ralph" Calobrisi

Raffaele “Ralph” Calobrisi of Fair Lawn passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the age of 96. Born in the Bronx, NY he was a long-time resident of Paramus before moving to Fair Lawn. Ralph was a decorated WWII Veteran who served in the United States Army from 1943-1946. He was the recipient of the American Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He went on to serve the City of New York as a Police Officer and was later promoted to Detective. He honorably served 30 years before retiring in 1980.

He enjoyed playing golf, collecting coins and following the stock market. He was an active parishioner at St. Anne’s Church in Fair Lawn. His wife Concetta “Tina” Calobrisi passed away in 2019. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Raimondo, her husband Tim; grandchildren Heather, Joseph, Stephen, Tina, Matthew, Timmy; Great grandchildren Justin, Harper, Addie, Joey; brothers Dominick Calobrisi and Tony Calobrisi. Ralph is predeceased by his brother Raymond and sister Giovannina “Jean” Sangalli. Contributions in Ralph’s memory may be made to St. Jude (stjude.org)
