Richard F. Triolo “Dick”, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rochelle Park, he was a long-time resident of Saddle Brook. Dick proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement he was the owner of Dix Auto Service in New York City.
Dick was a very kind man who was always ready to help others. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and his family, rebuilding and restoring classic cars, was an avid fly fisherman and a golfer who looked forward to his annual golf trips with his sons and son-in-law. He was always eager to learn new things and was extremely persistent in accomplishing whatever he set out to do.
Dick was the beloved husband of Frieda B. Triolo “Ellen” whom he was married to for 40 years; devoted father to Joanne Egan (Thomas), James M. Triolo (Karen), Richard T. Triolo (Jeanne), Marika Choma and John Choma (deceased).
A cherished grandfather to Katie, Laura, Brent, Megan, Brooke, Vanessa, Ian and Tara.
Great grandfather to Emma, Owen, Zachary, Molly, Abby, Bear and Owen.
Dick is predeceased by his first wife Anna Triolo.
