Obituary for Timothy R. Coughlin
COUGHLIN, Timothy R. 82, of Fair Lawn, NJ on January 2, 2023. Born in New York, Tim had lived in New York before moving to Fair lawn in 1968. Up until his retirement in 1999, he was a tractor trailer driver for Tropicana CO. of Jersey City. Tim was very handy and enjoyed many various projects in his home as well as gardening. He loved to read and enjoyed cooking a good meal for his family. Tim was a member of St. Anne’s RC church of Fair Lawn and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tim was the devoted husband of Elizabeth (Attanasio) Coughlin for 59 years. Beloved father of Daniel Coughlin and his wife Mary and Susan Cullinane and her husband Michael. Loving grandfather to Steven, Brendan, Sean, Brian, Kevin, Daniel and Maura. Brother of the late John Coughlin.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s RC Church, 1505 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn on Thursday 10:30 AM followed by a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Timothy’s memory to a favorite charity.
